Warranty & Care
What our workmanship warranty covers, how manufacturer warranties work, and how to keep a kitchen looking new in Florida.
Last updated: September 21, 2026
1. Workmanship Warranty
We warrant our installation workmanship for one year from substantial completion, unless a longer period is stated in your contract. If cabinets we installed work loose, doors will not hold adjustment due to installation, or a countertop seam or fixture we fitted fails under normal use, we return and correct it at no charge.
2. Manufacturer Warranties
Cabinetry, countertops, sinks, faucets, hardware and appliances carry the warranties of their manufacturers. Quality cabinet lines commonly carry a limited lifetime warranty on the box and hardware. Quartz manufacturers typically warrant 10 to 25 years against manufacturing defects. Those warranties belong to you. We register them where registration is required, hand over the documentation at completion and help you file a claim if something fails.
3. What Our Warranty Covers
- Cabinets that loosen from the wall or from each other
- Doors and drawers that will not hold adjustment due to installation
- Countertop seams that separate under normal use
- Sink, faucet and disposal installation defects
- Backsplash tile that loosens due to installation
- Trim, filler and crown that separates or gaps
4. What Is Not Covered
- Manufacturing defects in products, which are covered by the maker
- Normal wear, scratches, dents, chips and general use damage
- Natural variation and expected color change in wood and stone
- Damage from water leaks, flooding or standing moisture
- Damage from humidity extremes, including a home left unconditioned
- Damage from abrasive cleaners, bleach, ammonia or harsh chemicals
- Heat damage from pans set directly on a countertop
- Overloading shelving, drawers or wall cabinets beyond rated capacity
- Work altered, repaired or reinstalled by others
- Items the client supplied, where the defect is in the item
- Damage from storms, hurricanes, pests or acts of nature
5. Conditions
- The contract must be paid in full for warranty coverage to apply.
- Coverage applies at the original installation address.
- Coverage is extended to the original client and is not transferable unless agreed in writing.
- You must give us reasonable access to inspect and correct a warranty item.
6. Adjustment Visit
Cabinets settle and doors move slightly as a house and its humidity change through the first year. Every project includes one complimentary adjustment visit within 12 months. Save up the small items and we will handle them in one trip.
7. Care Guidance For Florida Kitchens
- Wipe spills promptly, especially around the sink base and dishwasher, where most cabinet damage starts.
- Use mild soap and water on cabinets. Never ammonia, bleach, abrasive cleaners or magic eraser sponges.
- Dry cabinet surfaces after cleaning rather than letting water sit on seams and edges.
- Use trivets. Setting a hot pan directly on quartz can cause thermal shock and permanent damage.
- Use cutting boards. No countertop material is a cutting surface, whatever the salesperson implied.
- Seal granite as the fabricator specifies, typically every one to two years. Quartz does not need sealing.
- Avoid hanging wet towels over cabinet doors, which is the most common cause of finish failure we see.
- Keep the home conditioned. Extended periods without air conditioning cause wood movement and finish problems.
- Tighten cabinet hardware once a year and adjust hinges before they wear.
- Run the range hood. Grease deposits on cabinet finishes are difficult to reverse.
